About Me
I am a dependable, energetic, and ever learning journalist. I became inspired to work in the journalism field interning with WMOT, or Roots Radio, at Middle Tennessee State University. Becoming involved with the station, I wrote, recorded, and edited news stories, along with organizing interviews. I also am a DJ and a DJ intern for WMTS, MTSU's student run radio, currently, and have been for a year. While at the station, I create musical playlists, inform listeners about world news, issues, and trending topics in the Murfreesboro, TN, and surrounding areas. I also became a contributing writer for several articles with MTSU's newspaper, Sidelines. I hope to pursue a career in music, media, or radio journalism.
